The West Cornwall Concert Band players are a happy, friendly bunch for whom the band is all about having fun and making music with friends. Consequently the band will always welcome new players who would like to sit in and 'have a blow' with us at rehearsal on Monday evenings at Hayle Rugby Club, albeit that to play with the band at public performances would require at least Grade 3 to 4 standard or above.
At present the band has a trumpet, a French horn, a clarinet and an oboe available for long term loan to any players of these instruments who would like to join the band. So if you're interested please give Brian, the musical director, a ring on 01209 212058; he will be delighted to hear from you.
